Real Estate Agents: Sign Up Incentive

In order to ensure the closure project remains financially sustainable we are constantly looking to have more residents sign up to contribute monthly. This will also help shorten the time needed to ultimately go operational. To help us with this goal we are reaching out to the real estate agents that are active in our area to help us ensure that any new residents that move in sign up for the closure project.

The effect that a gated community has on the desirability of property within is widely known. As a further incentive to real estate agents we have established a program whereby an agent that facilitates the signing up of a new resident will receive the first month's contribution paid by that resident. The agent is expected to disclose the commission to be received to their employer. The payment will be made only to the agent who made the sale.

The procedure is as follows (see below for download links for the relevant documents):

  • Inform the prospective buyer about the Wingate Park Security Village membership.

  • When the prospective buyer purchases the property:

    • fill in the sign-up incentive form,

    • hand the new owner a copy of the Project Information and Payment of Contributions documents, and

    • have the new owner fill in the power of attorney form and debit order form (unless they opt for EFT).

  • Send the completed forms to riethoa+signup@gmail.com.

  • A new account will be created for the new owner with Huurkor and we will monitor this account for payments.

Once the first month's payment is received from the new owner, we will transfer that amount as per the banking details filled in on the sign-up incentive form.
