Monthly Contribution Cost

The monthly household contribution fee for participating in the scheme is as in the table below:

House
R 400
Duet
R 200
Complex (townhouse)
R 100

Time frame

  • The application for closure was submitted to the Tshwane city council in December 2023.

  • We expect to have approval by March 2026.

  • Until then we can implement the planned security upgrades that are not dependent on the approval.

  • During this time we will endeavor to keep on increasing the participation rate. A higher participation rate will shorten the time needed to collect the funds for implementing the planned perimeter upgrades.

  • Depending on how high we can push the participation rate above the required 70 %, we should be able to go operational somewhere in the latter half of 2026.

Presentation video

In June 2023, Jan Malan from StreetSafe addressed the residents of Wingate Park with regards to the proposed development of the Wingate Park Security Village.
